During 16-19 September 2011, True Heart Theatre hosted our European partners in London. This Video clip was made by our Estonian partners Hille Karm & Kaspar Aus to give you a taste of what happened.

AMC Vienna 5Specifically, through music and improvisational theatre we aimed to build bridges of communication between diverse communities, both in terms of ethnicity but also in terms of socioeconomic and religious background.

Such an approach is a powerful tool for influencing values, attitudes and skills, since it is holistic in nature and involves the human mind, spirit and emotions. 

 

 

AMC pic from HungaryThrough our visits and exchanges with each other, we shared diverse ideas and successful approaches.  Participants were enabled to use them as models in open workshops and performances offered to the wider public in each participating country.

 True Heart Theatre hosted open Workshop/Performances of Playback Theatre
 on most THIRD Sundays of the month.

IMG_0252Many of these events took place at Faraday House in Holborn – home of SUNY [State University of New York] in London – and supported by UNITE – the Union. 
We called these our AMC OPEN SUNDAYS
600+ people attended these events over this period. Young and old. Free of charge.
