Cecilia, Si In Ung is a distinguished professional in the arts and cultural sector, holding a Master of Arts Management degree. With extensive experience and a deep passion for the performing arts, Cecilia has played significant roles across various cultural organizations in Macau and beyond.
Currently serving as the Executive Director of True Heart Theatre since 2022, Cecilia has also held prominent positions such as Chairlady of the Macao Ching Hin Drama Club, Executive Member of the Macao Drama Association, and Board Member of the Macao Chinese Theatre Institute.
Cecilia is a versatile artist, excelling as a stage makeup artist and designer, and actress. She has contributed to numerous drama and dance performances and served as a judge in drama and storytelling competitions. Throughout her career, Cecilia has produced and coordinated a wide range of cultural events, including the Macao Arts Festival, Macao City Fringe Festival, opera productions, seminars, exhibitions, and international drama exchanges.
Cecilia’s passion for Playback Theatre began in 1993 when her mentor, Veronica, introduced her to this transformative art form. Reconnecting with Veronica in 2019, Cecilia soon joined True Heart Theatre. Deeply inspired by its ability to empower individuals and unite communities, Cecilia is committed to promoting Playback Theatre in the UK, fostering meaningful connections, amplifying voices, and building bridges across cultures.
